N.H.’s Pats Peak Ski Area Donates to Melanoma Research

Henniker, NH – As part of Pats Peak March Mountain Madness Deals, the New Hampshire ski and snowboard area has donated $500 to support melanoma research.nPats Peak donated $5 of every lift ticket purchased to ski or ride during the resort’s SPF Days toward “Peter’s Fundracer” to support melanoma research. Guests were able to choose a sample of sunscreen or lip balm to protect themselves from the sun’s rays.

“We are happy to donate to this worthy cause,” said Kris Blomback, General Manager of Pats Peak. “Our Snowsports Director is a huge supporter of this event and we felt that we could contribute to the cause during our March Specials.”

Peter’s Fundracer collects donations to support skin cancer research. The cause is named in honor of Peter M. Newton, who died of melanoma in 1999 at the age of 46.
