Vail Resorts Season Pass Now Includes Summer Skiing in Argentina

Broomfield, CO – Vail Resorts, Inc. announced on Wednesday that all new and renewing Vail Resorts 2010-11 Epic Pass purchasers can now continue their winter season through the summer – in the Southern Hemisphere – with free and unrestricted skiing and snowboarding at Las Leñas Resort in Argentina when staying at select hotel properties in Las Leñas.n”The Epic Season Pass already gives skiers and riders unlimited access at Vail Resorts’ world-class resorts including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Heavenly, as well as Arapahoe Basin, but we wanted to give Epic Pass holders even more benefits by offering an opportunity to ski and ride year round,” said Heidi Kercher-Pratt, vice president and chief marketing officer for Vail Resorts. “We are thrilled to work with Las Leñas, a legendary resort in Argentina, to give Epic Pass holders the chance to have an endless ski and ride season.”

The Epic Pass provides unlimited, unrestricted access to six U.S. ski and snowboard resorts including Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado, as well as Heavenly in Nevada and California at Lake Tahoe. It is currently priced at $599 for an adult adult and $299 per child, ages 5 to 12. Now, all Epic Pass holders also receive free and unrestricted skiing from June through October of 2010 and 2011 at Las Leñas during their stay at the Piscis Hotel, Escorpio Hotel, Aries Hotel, Villa Capricornio, or Acuario Hotel locations in Las Leñas.
