Two More Weekends to Ski at Oregon’s Mt. Hood Meadows

Mt. Hood, OR – There are just two weekends remaining in the ski and snowboard season at Mt. Hood Meadows. The Oregon resort received more snow this week, and the ski area’s Cascade Express, Mt. Hood Express and Buttercup are scheduled to operate this Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.nThis weekend’s lift tickets are reduced to $49, and College Pass holders receive $10 off. Season pass holders (except night and midweek pass holders) can continue to use their passes in May. Those who have 10 time pass or 5 time spring pass days remaining can also use up those days for themselves only in May.

Even with this week’s new snow the parks crew was able to build the Cascade Park with two table tops, one step-down, and seven rails. They’ll also have the SuperPipe cut fresh and both City Park and Shipyard will be open.

Ski school will be offering two-hour lessons for adults and kids. Day care will be available Saturday and Sunday with advance reservation only via email to daycare(at)skihood.com and the Ball Room Carpet will operate for ski school lessons only. If the weather is nice they’ll have BBQ on the deck supported with bar service from the Alpenstube. The Mazot is also scheduled to be open, weather depending.
