Two Skiers Spend Cold Night on Sugarloaf

Carrabassett Valley, ME – Two young men spent a Wednesday night in the Maine woods after getting lost while skiing at Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley.nThe two unidentified men, ages 16 and 20 from Oxford Hills, Maine, were reported missing by family members around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday when they failed to return home from a day of skiing. They were spotted by a Maine Warden Service airplane around 8 a.m. Thursday in the Rapid Stream Valley on the mountain’s backside.

No word is available on their condition.
