Park City, UT - A helicopter was employed last week to carry ski lift towers into place as Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) upgrades its 3 Kings chairlift for the 2011-12 winter season.
The lift is being converted from a double to a triple chairlift and will double uphill capacity to the top of the resort’s 3 Kings Terrain Park. The new lift is part of more than $7 million being spent by PCMR to upgrade this season.
