Mammoth Opening Now Barely Two Weeks Away

Mammoth Lakes, CA – With more than a foot of snow in the past 24 hours and the storm continuing unabated, Mammoth Mountain is gearing up for a ski and snowboard season that will open on Thursday, Nov. 8, and once again, it will be a festive affair.

Mammoth Mountain’s Opening Weekend promises live performances by breaking indie act Blondfire and Mammoth sponsored artist LA Riots. On the mountain, skiers and riders will enjoy the California resort’s terrain as it launches for winter 2012-13. Off the mountain, a slew of parties and events–from live music and film premieres to theme parties and DJ sets–will be designed to keep visitors entertained and energized.
