France’s Pinturault Wins Hinterstoder GS

Hinterstoder, Austria – The World Cup returned to Hinterstoder on Friday for the first time in five years as France’s Alexis Pinturault won his second Audi FIS Ski World Cup giant slalom race of the season.

“This win was unexpected,“ said Pinturault. “Especially after the big mistake I did right before the flat part. It’s never good to do mistakes before flats! I wasn’t sure it would be enough, but in the end, I was pleasantly surprised with my time.”
