Colorado Ski and Snowboard Expo Starts Now

Denver, CO – The 25th Annual Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo gets underway this afternoon at the Colorado Convention Center, and continues throughout the weekend.

The three-day event is a pre-season tradition for many Colorado families with the combination of a giant sale, interactive activities for kids, and spectator performances for everyone. Colorado resort representatives are on site with special offers, games, giveaways, and resort information. Season passes, multi-resort passes, and discounted lift tickets are also on sale.

Deals on outdoor winter equipment, clothing, and accessories are up for grabs in the Convention Center’s Hall B. Expo walls are lined with skis, snowboards, and boots and surround racks of jackets, pants, base layers, and helmets with prices marked up to 60% off.

New this year, the NFL is presenting the Flippenout Extreme Aerial Show featuring world-class athletes performing synchronized maneuvers on two trampolines. An adjacent NFL exhibit area features Denver Bronco videos and products for sale. The Rocky Mountain Beer Garden is pouring Sierra Nevada’s craft beers with free live musical entertainment from Jim and James Salestrom.

Admission costs $15 for adults or $12 with a discount coupon available at www.SkiSnowExpo.com. Kids 12 and under free. Show hours are from noon to 10 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
