Ski Dazzle Returns to L.A. in December

Los Angeles, CA – For three days in early December, Ski Dazzle — the 53rd annual Los Angeles Ski Show & Snowboard Expo — will feature over $6 million of ski and snowboard gear, all on sale at up to 70% off, with choices from dozens of ski and snowboard retailers all under one roof.

Ski Dazzle will be held at the L.A. Convention Center, December 2-4. Consumers can also shop for “Show Specials”, lift ticket deals, season passes and travel packages directly from popular local winter and destination resorts, right at the show.

Sport Chalet and Sports Authority stores recently filed for bankruptcy, closing over 55 stores in Southern California. This means that Ski Dazzle is now the region’s largest marketplace for ski and snowboard consumers, with over four football fields of bargains on brand-name ski and snowboard gear.

Action Water Sports, Jack’s Surfboards, Get Outdoors 365 and Zumiez are just a few of of the retailers exhibiting at the show. Used gear will also be available through the show’s LA Sport Swap, and sellers can line their pockets and clean out their garages.

Six ski resorts are stepping up to offer your choice of a free lift ticket, a two-for-one lift ticket, or a free beginner group lesson package with the purchase of general admission to the show. Participating resorts are: Bear Mountain, Mt. Baldy, Mountain High, Snow Summit and Snow Valley, all in California, and Brian Head in southern Utah.

Scheduled show entertainment includes beginner ski lessons for kids and adults on a 60-foot long indoor ski ramp, a 220-foot long Tandem Rider Zipline, a climbing wall, beginner snowboarding park lessons just for kids, “Human Snowball Races” on a dual Zorb track and Resort Seminars experts giving you this winter’s insider information with prizes for all ages, including lift tickets and season passes.
