Teton Village, WY – Better late than never, they always say.
After receiving 18 inches of snow overnight, Wyoming’s Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) will kick off its delayed winter season this Thursday, Dec. 1. JHMR will open its Teewinot and Après Vous lifts at 9 a.m. on Thursday with additional lifts and terrain scheduled to open over the weekend as snow conditions allow.
“We’re excited to kick off the season,” JHMR president Jerry Blann said this morning. “With this latest storm cycle producing over a foot and a half snowfall in the upper elevations, that brings our season snowfall total to 95 inches. We’re looking forward to a good winter, and will be opening terrain as quickly as possible.”
There’s no word yet on opening day lift ticket prices.
