Utah Venues Ready For Nordic World Championships

Park City, UT – All systems are go as Utah’s snow-blanketed Olympic venues get ready to welcome the world for the International Ski Federation’s USANA FIS Nordic Junior World Championships and U23 Cross Country World Championships January 30-February 5.

Over the past week, FIS-appointed officials have reviewed snow conditions at both the Utah Olympic Park in Park City, and Soldier Hollow in nearby Midway, and given the formal go ahead.

Snow control is a routine part of all FIS competitions worldwide. With the heavy blanketing of snow across the entire Wasatch Range, conditions are excellent for the week-long World Championships.
