"Our Ski & Ride School was scheduled to open on November 20th, but with all the new snow we have decided to open early and offer lessons to meet the demands of our guests," said Rob Goodell, Director of Business Operations at Loveland. "We are excited to offer our skiers and riders access to the first and only lessons in Colorado."
Group and private lessons are now available for all ability levels. In an effort to meet the needs of first time skiers and riders, Loveland Ski & Ride School will offer a new clinic called Intro to Skiing and Snowboarding at Loveland Basin. These 2.5 hour clinics are for first time skiers and snowboarders and will introduce them to the basics of skiing and snowboarding at the base of Loveland Basin. The beginner clinics are $50 and include 2.5 hours of instruction and rental equipment. The Intro to Skiing and Snowboarding clinics will not use any chairlifts.
Upon completion of The Intro to Skiing and Snowboarding, guests will have the option to continue their progression and ride the lift with an instructor for a private, one on one, 1.5 hour lesson in the afternoon for an additional $95, lift ticket & rental included.
"We have packages to accommodate any level of skier and rider but we encourage everyone to call ahead because we are operating with limited terrain," said Dan Huston, Loveland Ski & Ride School Director. "The snowpack is perfect for working on your turns and our instructors are ready to help you get to the next level."
