Killington will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday with four trails, served by the K-1 Express Gondola and the Northridge Triple Chair. The ski area's mountain ops team is working hard to provide top-to-bottom access, however, some walking may be required on the lower portion of the mountain.
Lift tickets will be $49 for adults Wednesday and all Killington season passes will be honored.
Killington will then close again for Thursday and Friday, and staffers will make a decision concerning operations for the upcoming weekend on Thursday morning. Resort spokesperson Tom Horrocks says that they hope to preserve the snow by not offering access on Thursday and Friday, and anticipate that snowmaking efforts will resume in time to freshen surfaces and deepen snow bases for the weekend.
