Keystone, CO - Keystone Resort kicks off its golf season with today's opening of the Colorado ski resort's River Course at Keystone. The Keystone Ranch Course is scheduled to open June 19 with limited tee time availability also on June 6, 12 and 13. Opening weekend rates for the River Course are $85 per 18-hole round. The River Course Grill will also open today and operate seven days a week with a full menu throughout the season.


The 6th Annual "We’re Open Open" takes place on Sunday, June 21 at the Keystone Ranch Course. This two-player scramble begins with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Over $3,000 in prizes will be awarded for Low Net and Low Gross Teams and on-course individual pin prizes. A $130 registration fee includes golf car rental, practice balls, tournament gift, barbecue, beer & prizes. Register by June 8 by calling (970) 496-4250.

Also, the River Course at Keystone Resort will host the second season of Nine, Wine & Dine events. Golfers tee-up between 3 and 4 p.m. with wine tasting starting at 5:30 p.m. and a three course dinner from The River Course Grill to follow. Each event features a different winery. Kids golf free at Keystone every afternoon with a paying adult at both of Keystone’s courses. Free golf is offered after 5 p.m. all season long for kids age 17 and under depending on availability.

Short Game Clinics are free for Keystone lodging guests with Adventure Passports or $15 for other guests. The clinics are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3 to 4 p.m., June 10 through September 23, when guests can practice and perfect their short games with Keystone golf professionals. Birdies and Bettys Ladies Days take place on Saturdays beginning June 13 through August 29 at the River Course. Guests play nine holes of golf, receive a golf clinic from Keystone Resort golf pros, and enjoy a social lunch for $55. Reservations should be made one week in advance by calling (970) 496-1520.

Senior golf days, a.k.a. "Boomers on the Links" happen on Tuesdays, June 9 through September 8 at the River Course. Guests enjoy an 8 a.m. shotgun start followed by nine holes of golf, a clinic with Keystone’s golf professionals, and lunch at the River Course Grill for $55. All abilities are welcome.
