Arapahoe Basin, CO - Officials at Colorado's Arapahoe Basin ski area confirmed Saturday that the resort will be open for skiing and snowboarding seven days a week until June 7. Ninety two trails are presently open with six lifts serving 797 acres, including the East Wall and Montezuma Bowl.


All skier services are available including snow sports lessons and ski and board rentals. All items in the retail store at Arapahoe Sports are 50% off.

Skiing at A-Basin really hits its stride in the spring, celebrated by the Shakin’ at the Basin free May Concert Series on most Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the base area. The band lineup includes:
  • May 9 – Boo Daddy – High energy rock, funk, Motown and dance
  • May 16 – Pride of Five – Classic rock
  • May 23 – Coral Creek – Bluegrass
  • May 24 – That Eighties Band – Music from a favorite decade
A-Basin will hold free rail jams in the Treeline Terrain Park May 9, 16 and 23. On May 24, brewmasters from Summit County’s five local microbreweries will serve up their best brews for the 8th Annual Festival of the Brewpubs from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00p.m. in the base area.

The 2009-10 Arapahoe Basin Bonus Pass is now on sale. The passes can be purchased for $349 for adults (age 15+) and $259 for children (age 6-14). The Bonus Pass provides skiers and riders unlimited usage at A-Basin during the remainder of the 2008-09 season as well as the entire 2009-10 season plus five non-transferable ski days valid at Keystone or Breckenridge. One of those five days can be used at Vail or Beaver Creek (some date restrictions apply). The 2009-10 Arapahoe Basin only Adult Season Pass (age 20-69) can be purchased for $289, the youth pass (age 15-19) is selling for $199, and the child pass (age 6-14) is selling for $109. These passes are also valid for the remainder of the 2008-09 season as well as the entire 2009-10 season with no blackout dates.
