Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany - Olympic slalom gold medalist Maria Riesch of Germany was in classic form Saturday, finishing on the podium for the home crowd to win the Audi FIS World Cup slalom ski racing title. Sarah Schleper, of Vail, Colo., led the charge for the U.S. by finishing 20th.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany - The U.S. Ski Team's Jimmy Cochran, of Keene, N.H., led the way for his team Saturday, wrapping up the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup season with a 13th during the slalom at the series finals in Germany.

Caitlin Ciccone, of Littleton, N.H., finished 19th to post her best career result as Kelsey Serwa won to lead a Canadian sweep of the women's podium.
Valmalenco, Italy - Stratton Mountain, Vt.'s Lindsey Jacobellis Alex Pullin of Australia have won the second to last snowboard cross race of the 2010 LG Snowboard FIS World Cup, held Friday in Valmalenco.

Park City, Utah's Ted Ligety added to his trophy collection Friday as he clinched the second Audi FIS World Cup giant slalom title of his career with a third-place result in the season's final event in Germany, which was won by Carlo Janka of Switzerland, who locked the men's overall World Cup title with the win.
Valmalenco, Italy - The second to last stop of the 2010 LG Snowboard FIS World Cup tour will take this weekend in Italy. As happened in both 2008 and 2009, Valmalenco will once again host decisions in three different disciplines. More than 100 women and 150 men from more than 20 countries are entered in competitions in snowboard cross, parallel giant slalom and halfpipe.

Canada's Erik Guay kept his stride Thursday, winning his second straight super G to notch the title, the first World Cup globe for a Canadian since 1982 during the Audi FIS World Cup Finals in Germany. Ted Ligety, of Park City, Utah, led for the U.S., finishing 16th.
