Any suggestions for playing the lifts to avoid the crowds?

Planning to run up to Jay on Saturday. Anyone who was there today, I'll be looking forward to hearing the reports. I'm looking out my condo window at Loon at sideways trees and reading the reports of the upper lifts being closed. Just walked the dogs, and it was nasty. What would you expect...

Wondering if I should pick these up - looking for other opinions. I just demo'd a set that are in mint condition selling for $350. Conditions were bullet proof Eastern ice after rain. Held beautifully on the hard stuff, but if I wasn't testing the skis, I wouldn't have even bothered going out...

Haven't been there for years, but I loved it when I went. I was commenting to my son as we drove by Lyndonville on our way up to Jay how nice an area it is, especially when there's snow.

The reports at Jay suggest they may have nearly 2 feet of new in the past 24 hours. If I can get my kid out of bed, we'll make the 2 hour drive and see what it's all about.

Great shots. What happened there on Monday/Tuesday? Did they suffer with the same rain as all the rest of us?
