Jill Kinmont, RIP

Postby Patrick » Fri Feb 10, 2012 9:51 pm

Jill Kinmont passed away yesterday in Carson City. She was 75. If you don't know about her, she was an upcoming skier (US Slalom champs and top prospect for the 1956) when she was paralyzed neck down in a downhill at Alta.

Her life struggles were made into two movies: The Other Side of the Mountain (1975) and The Other Side of the Mountain Part 2 (1978).
