Trails named after a different ski area?

Sat Apr 06, 2013 6:37 pm

Riding Sunnyside at Alta today over "Vail Ridge" got me to thinking...how many ski runs can you think of that include the name of a completely different ski area? We could have a little mindless fun over this. FYI I can think of one other example just in the Cottonwood Canyons.

Have at it.

Not a trail, but "Sugarloaf" at Alta. :stir:

Altabird at Solitude.

There's also a Solitude Way at Jackson. I suspect there may be many more names that incorporate "solitude", but as a descriptor rather than a more overt reference to Solitude Mountain Resort.

That was the other one I was thinking of in the Cottonwoods.

Along with Solitude (which I always refer to as Multitude due to its ever-crowded nature), Mammoth also has St. Moritz and St. Anton. June has Matterhorn, which kind of works since Zermatt and Cervinia are called the Matterhorn Ski Paradise.
