Forecast calls for freezing here in Ottawa tonight.

It's ski magazine time of the year again (and the magazine are fat, not like at the end of the season).

These are two signs that the new ski season is coming soon at a ski areas near you. :p

How many ski magazines subscriptions do you have?

Do you have any or do you pick and choose at the newsstand?

Which ones do you received or buy? Which do you like or hate? And why?

Just curious

subscribed to couloir, but i hesitate to lump that gem of a media source with the regular ski rags. i would never subscribe to any other ski magazine.

I receive Ski Canada at home in order to keep in touch with Canadian skiing.

I buy the odd Skiing and Powder (also others) how and then if there's something I find interesting.

But I also read the Ski News section of FTO at least once a week.

I subscribe to Powder, and buy SKIER when in looks interesting.

For a long time, I was buying Powder, Ski, Skiing, SkiCanada, & Snow Country, all from the newstand, every month. Then I realized that a lot of those weren't really that good, and I was wasting a lot of money.

But man, when it comes in the mail in August, it's a Godsend
