Okay, I know some of you read and contribute elsewhere? I'm not going to start naming names.

Some of you contribute alot elsewhere? How do you do it? ...without your love one (spouse, kids, dogs, cats) feeling neglected.

I guess an online ski addiction it's more acceptable than an online porn addiction.

So what do you read and where do you write?

(I'm talking about ski forums, not porn sites).

geez, this could be a long list. i consider myself an active poster on:
first tracks online
alpine zone
snow journal

i regularly read but rarely post on:
time for tuckerman
couloir mag
ski vt-l

occasionally i read and rarely post on:
epic ski
new england skiers.org

that covers most of the major ones that are applicable to the region. i will occasionally keep an eye on TGR for east coast BC trip reports but i am not ever registered there. and easternuswx is a good weather forum to review if an interesting weather development is on the way.

ummmm... those are just my regular ski sites

And then there's riv's music stuff -- I even stumbled across his scene blog the other day.

i didn't even know i had a scene blog, lol! i do have a personal blog through livejournal and an uber long friend/community list. three forums bookmarked and checked daily for that (used to be two more than that when i was DJ'ing in the boston area and needed to keep up on the latest tracks).  yet i still sit here half the time thinking there is nothing even mildly interesting to read online

Yup, that's the one. I couldn't remember where it was and that was the best way I could think of to describe it.

FTO is the place where I read and post the most.
Zoneski (Quebec ski forum) would be second.

I've posted a few times at:

Snowjournal (less now)
Epicski
TGR (aka MadPatSki)
Mammoth Ski Forum (aka Patrickski) when I was trip planning.

Not registered and read sometimes when it's time...
Time for Tuckerman
SKIVT-L (read a few times lately)
I believe I'm registered on MRV Forum, but never go.

Epicski and Mammoth Forum. I sometimes go "cold turkey" on those for a few weeks if I'm not getting enough stuff done.

IMHO FTO has the best "signal to noise ratio." Most posts here are worth at least a look.

Epic has many more active users at the moment and I find many but not all topics to be of interest.

TGR has some excellent info but also a lot of noise, so I generally rely on others to post links to their interesting pages.

Mammoth Forum is obviously narrowly focused, but since it's my "home" area I check it out periodically.

Looked at ZoneSki for Quebec, mais c'est en Francais.

Any Quebec Forums in English, my french is rough.

I don't know of any other Quebec ski forum period, mind you that one of the first to write on Zoneski when it started in 2003 and the one that as written close to 6000 messages since then is Frankontour on FTO.

There are a few others like myself, BigJay, James Deluxe, Lucky Luke, BernardP, Eric 312 that write on both forums from now and then.
