How often does the bus run? Is it really crowded?

Are you trolling me?

No, quite serious. I normally stay close to the entrance of the valley and drive up, but I don't want to pay for a 4x4. I'm looking for the closest one, and want to know how convenient it really is.

It's not bad at all. Clearly, the buses are far more crowded on restricted days, and the lots at the mouths of the canyons are not always the best place to catch the bus, for it could be already full by the time it arrives at that last stop heading up.

Like Admin says, on the days where 4x4 restrictions are in place, the lots at the mouth of each canyon fill up first and since it's the last bus stop before heading up-canyon, the buses can indeed be full to capacity. The better plan on those days is to head to one of the slightly more outlying lots.
