Killington is no longer on a 7-day operating schedule. They are on a Fri/Sat/Sun schedule until they run out of snow on Superstar. They are also running the lift until 5:00pm.

I simply posted a quick link. My post mentions that we are only talking Fri/Sat/Sun for K and weekend for MSS. I know that MSS will be spinning rain or shine Thurs to Sun...regardless of the rain forecast. There is a ski camp this week. Their website mentions that they would open if the weather is "not nice"...not snow related. Temperature are suppose to be back within averages ... it been really hot for the last week.

1 run per country for this weekend : Superstar and West Hill 70.

Bunch of info and geek stuff on my latest update.

....and Killington is still shooting for the 1st weekend of June.

From their Sunday May 19th report:
Spring Operations Outlook
Starting May 6, we will be closed Monday - Thursday and open Friday - Sunday through June 2, 2013, conditions permitting.

Of course, I had a knee operation on April 25th. My rehab is mowing the grass and other assorted yard work. I have a condo meeting on June 1 so I'll at least wander up to where my friends park below the lift, drink a beer, and swat black flies.

No Encore at St-Sauveur – Eastern Closing Thread 2012-13 Part 8

The title says it all...I still think that MSS is throwing in the towel to easy after skiing there on Sunday. I've seen worst conditions for last weekends of them than 4-10 feet base. Yeah it's been pouring, but...

If K makes it to June, its going to be ugly.

You beat to the punch...

Last call for Killington. The blog post has been updated (see link above). Free skiing on Sat-Sun with walking required.

The week's warm pouring rain has taken it's toll.

Okay here is my last post of the Eastern Closing Thread.

Thoughts on the end of season: Eastern liftserved and beyond (ie. Not East or not liftserved).

Some geeky analysis on previous dates and stuff. Some of you might be interested.
