Today Ottawa received very wet snow, some people saw rain (forecast was 5-10cm - don't think so). I headed for the slopes at Fortune and they might have received 15cm wet and heavy snow.
Started skiing at 1pm, the snow was very grabby at first. There was a bit more people on the slopes, but nowhere near the usual December 26 crowd. I guess some people in town were scared off by the very wet weather (heard it was raining in part of town).
The snow started to get faster as the temps were dropping at around 3pm. Still fairly warm, hoping they get to make some snow on the other runs.
Same trails open: Pineault, Clifford and Slalom.
