Just walking up for my
first ride up I bump into Garry Waldeck.
Garry has already made about 8 runs, so we ride up,
hike down the dirt and grass to the bumps, and Garry
takes off, leaving me standing. I had a hard time
keeping up, Garry kicked my ass. Had a great time on
the easy middle section, tired myself out QUICK.

Heading up the next time I noticed some of the famous
Killington rock piles. I pointed them out to Garry
so we decided to build one. We made a pile right at
the top of Superstar, an engineer pile, well balanced
with flat stones large at the bottom and smaller going
up. Then we got a short piece of plaid and a stick and
made a flag at the top of the pile. Garry had his camera
and took some pictures with the mountain backdrop framing
our little pile. Nice one by me, I tried to put my foot
on top of the pile for a picture 3 TIMES, as if I had
conquered the mountain. Of course I knocked over the
pile each time. Duh. It was kind of funny, Garry was
laughing pretty hard. So I just stood next to it for
the picture. I'll post them on the web when Garry
sends them over.

We made one more run together. I couldn't believe Garry
could still outdo me when he had done so many more runs.
After Garry left I only made a couple more runs before
calling it a day and heading home for some beers.
