Great
groomed conditions, some bumps forming. Took Locke Mtn. triple from midpoint and did T2 a couple of times. Good groomed conditions, some ice already showing on right side. Run down to bottom on Sunday Punch was excruciating. Full-tilt snowmaking blasted my ears and very rough and ragged man-made conditions prevailed with lots of death-cookies of unknown solidity (most
were firm, but broke-up).

Took a long break and an early lunch.

Out on hill at 11:15. Ecstasy still best run of the day. 2 runs on T2 and one on Upper Sunday punch (roller-coaster whales with nice soft man-made). Last run of day down Sunday punch was somewhat more predictable as all the snow had coalesced into some pretty decent moguls, which were firm but not solid.

All-in-all, I had a few 'turns' with some rhythm and I got my stance back. My legs now feel like sticks, and refuse to bend or move without pain. Ahh.

Next weekend Loon with my daughter.

P.S. Took a ride over to Cannon. The new high-speed quad and the two new lifts are all in with chairs on them. The outside of the children's center is done, and the inside
is being worked on. The new parking lots below the new children's center are real small, and that walk up will be a real pain. The new children's center lift seems like a complete waste of money. It can't be longer than 200 feet. Why not just have another surface lift?

We got 2" of snow in Lincoln on Friday night. It's all melted by now, but it should help cool the ground down. Looks like cold weather returns Monday. A good dump is always possible the more cold days we have.
