Mountain Creek, NJ 12/30/99

Due to our move to new servers, the date and time attributed to this post is incorrect.)</I> <BR> <BR>Got up to Mountain Creek on Thursday and was pleasantly surprised. Intrawest has put some serious $$ into this place..it appeared that all the lifts were redone from the towers up...the biggest difference is that they are actuall blowing snow on north, which in times past was an infrequent occurrance. I was totlly amazed at how good the man made stuff was.. Grand prix (have NO idea what the intrawest name is) had some nice styrofoam stuff on the right side that made for 6 nice runs. hey whaddya want from freakin NJ....the snow quality is amazing ly good...technology IS a good thing! oh well I had a blast doin laps especially being 1:15 from home...turns are turns...but I was realy impresseed with the quality of the snow they are blowing..
