Considering how much it rained yesterday afternoon, the skiing was quite acceptable. I was expecting death cookies and sheet ice. Instead, I got a nice tilled surface of sugar snow. It helped that there were only about 200 cars in the parking lot so it didn't get scraped off. The snowguns are roaring in full force and conditions underneath the tower guns were quite good. Yeah, it's McSkiing but there's lots of acres of it and there should be some decent skiing for the weekend. The snowmakers had guns going on the top part of Skyelark and it looked like they'll be blowing Skye/Bitter overnight. Anything with any pitch to it is roped off and I doubt they'll groom the steeper terrain 'till the <BR>weekend.
