Whiteface, NY 1/8/00

Once you get that viscious ice base under everything it's hard to keep anything on top of it. Whiteface is doing an awesome job rebuilding after each setback but not gaining on the whole mountain. From the reports I see from Killington, Sugarbush, etc. it appears they are losing ground on trail count because they had so much more to begin with. Rain for tomorrow and 40's again, this is getting tiring.
