Edelweiss QC – December 24, 27-30, 2011 – Hurting on a Slow Start to Winter

Summary of my last 5 days...55 runs on one green run in temps as low as -25c. Pathetic like the state of skiing in the major Eastern regions. It could have been worst, I know people that rented stuff for this week in the Townships or elsewhere. Edelweiss is only 35km from home. I almost brought a laptop to get some blog stuff done, but didn't want to leave it in a car at -25c. O:)

At least Patrick is in the right country for decent skiing in this mostly depressing season. :stir: But as yet on the wrong side of it. :-P

Tony, you cannot have it both ways. :stir: :-D

Just say no to Christmas week destination trips!

First Masters race of the season was cancelled due to lack of snow (the run that we raced usually at Fortune wasn't open yet - they were working on it). Not a bad thing considering that I strained my ankle tobogganing on Monday. Ankle feels much better today, I'll test it out tomorrow.

This year is my 11th season of Masters racing, its the first time since that initial season where we didn't start due to lack of snow. Had time to write up an old TR...(okay, its not only about the conditions)
