Pow Mow 1/15/16

Left SLC at 645 am. Roads were a bit gnarly, as snow fall started in the early morning. I saw a few crashes en route to Eden.

Stopped at Beto's in Ogden for a proper bacon breakfast burrito before heading up (highly recommended).

Arrived at PowMow at around 910. On Paradise lift around 920. Slightly snowing,......

The skiing off of Paradise is some of my favorite in the state. It's just SICK. That's all I can say. It's not Snowbird Cirque steep, but its a blast. Ended up lapping this most of the morning until around 1pm.

Took a lap in Powder Country, first time ever. Not terribly familiar w/ the terrain, I think my line selection was rather poor. Still a good line, deep untracked. Not bottomless, but rather effortless. Waited 5 minutes at the bottom for the shuttle pick up.

Headed back to Paradise for more untracked. Found some completely untracked, deep snow even at 330 pm. Gotta love PowMow.

Ended up back at the Powder Keg at 410 pm for the live band and cold beer. My favorite apres ski bar in Utah.

Zipped back to SLC and arrived at the Garage on Beck by 615 pm.

PowMow has never disappointed me. A bit of a haul from SLC, but that place always seems to deliver untracked all day long. A very satisfied customer.
