"Kirkwood Mountain Resort may face stiff fines after an anonymous complaint called attention to asphalt road grindings deposited around Kirkwood Creek due to snow plowing over the winter, according to the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board."
I have to wonder if it's karma or payback from some of their recent policies. Beside closing with enough snow to go for another month, there are posts on TGR complaining about no longer allowing overnight stays in parking lot (a couple of years ago) or uphill access across their property after lifts closed for the season this year.
