Day 30: What's that bright orange orb in the sky?
After what felt like an endless string of powder days over the past six weeks, we're getting a 7-10 day break. It was wonderful to get up above the inversion that thickened quickly today (and even reached halfway up Tiger Tail at Snowbird) and enjoy the warm sunshine. Deep snow (111" base, 313" inches season to date) convinced a lot of others to do the same.
Tomorrow I'll actually be skiing somewhere else with Kingslug, so stay tuned.
