Day 38: Exceeding Expectations -- Part Deux.

If yesterday was fun, today was overwhelmingly good. Another underprecited/overproducing storm left a total of 18", 11" of which fell after yesterday closing. Although LCC was packed as usual this season, it was mostly holiday visitors again today who were reluctant to venture further afield until the storm wound down in the afternoon and they could actually see what they could ski. That meant untracked West Rustler laps over and over again for much of the day. That meant a deep untracked Patsy Marley in mid-afternoon. I went all the way until my legs cried "Uncle!" at 4 p.m. following a killer North Rustler.

We're now at a 117" base and 358" season-to-date, already 3 feet more than all of 2014-15 with over 2 months still left to go this season.
