Much different conditions today. A few inches of new on very firm surfaces and the upper parts of the resort wind scoured. Despite the snowfall and cloud we managed one Delerium Dive lap. With my brother managing to double eject on rock about a third of the way down. Fortunately a scar on one ski and hurt pride were the only casualties. About 6-8" of soft snow in there made for mostly sweet turns.

Sunshine faces into the wind. Castle faces leeward of prevailing wind. It's amazing what a difference that makes. I'm surprised you didn't hang around Castle for another day, as there would still have been plenty of that 12-24 for you to work on.

We seriously considered staying at Castle another day despite the fact that this is the annual guys trip I do and the rest of the crew and plan for the trip was Banff based. Just 3 of us booked extra days down south of Banff.
