Nice day on the man made.

We didn't figure Copper or Winter park were worth the extra time since they have mostly opened more green stuff in the past two weeks from the snowmaking efforts. So we hit Eldora again and were pleasantly surprised that they opened up Corona trail, albeit with the snowguns still running in your face. I generally hate skiing while snowmaiking is going on, but the snow was so creamy and soft that Jr and I skied 6 laps in a row on it. Nice pitch, nice snow, blue sky, temps in the upper 20's what's not to like?

Although I actually snowboarded again today to keep the interest and challenge level up. So I officially have more snowboarding days this season than ski days. Weather forecast looks like warming yet again for the next ~3 days before real winter might set in. Maybe. Crosses fingers, since possible snow and actual cold temps are showing in the 10 day [-o< . Of course about the time that happens, I'll be on plane back east for a week. so I hope for zonal flow to keep both sides of the country chilly and snowy.

All pics on Corona Trail today...
