Transition ski day.

6" of new Fri night & Saturday, but never warmed up until Sunday am when we arrived. Lower slopes warmed all the way up to slushy by late afternoon, but very upper mtn only got part way into the transition to spring snow/corn. Much of the late morning was super fun creamy snow on S facing Sunnyside lift and lowest part of Panorama. Jr wanted to make choices so we skied all over the mtn at various points.

Spring snowfall has been kind to WP as they have the best snowpack I've seen all winter in Colo (not that others also may have good snowpack (eg Abasin), but I haven't personally skied anywhere with better looking snowpack in Colo. In fact the Mary Jane side closing date has been extended by 2 weeks for additional skiing. Good choice given the snowpack and being the only RMSP+ still open at this point.
