TLH Heliskiing 1998 and Other Archives

Postby Tony Crocker » Mon Oct 08, 2018 1:17 am

Last November I created an archive page of some of my travels:

During the past week or so I've expanded that section to include some skiing highlights. Most of these were posted here shortly after they occurred but a few predate my joining FTO and/or owning a digital camera.

The most noteworthy "ancient history" powder day I posted last year on its 26th anniversary and included in the archives here:

My first destination snowcat (Island Lake 1997) and heliskiing (TLH 1998) trips were impressive enough to keep me coming back for more ever since. I can't find any pictures from Island Lake 1997, but I archived my last trip there in 2010. I did find the pictures from TLH, and so created a new TR for that:

Before the digital camera I did not routinely take pictures on many of my ski days. I have a photo album from the 2002 Olympics but no pics from the 3 days of almost "country club" skiing at Alta/Snowbird that week.

I did come across pictures from my eastern trip in 2003, for which I only posted brief narratives on FTO at the time. I scanned some of those and added them to the posts, which are now at the top of the Eastern section of FTO.
