Happy new Year!

Another chilly day but this time with 3-4 inches of snow falling heavily, mostly during the first half of the day. Jr really wanted to go to Copper so that was an easy choice for us. Unfortunately for him the biggest reason he wanted to go to Copper was to ski Tucker Mtn (which he has never done). Due to the low visibility from the snowfall the new Tucker lift was not running. We'll have to get him back to Copper so he can get that objective.

Otherwise a very nice ski day with the whole family. After a late lunch the sun even came out for ~45 minutes before more snow squalls came back in. The day included runs like Lillie G in a whiteout, Union bowl, Revenge off Sierra lift and even some very soft cruisers off Timberline (eg "The Moz"), etc... Ending our day about 3:10p.

While the trip up was very fast, the drive home was not - with an hour of delay at the tunnels due to 'metering' of traffic that they probably didn't even need to do. Though it gave us an excuse to stop and eat out on the way home.

I hardly even took pics due to the flat light and chill most of the day.
