Crystal Mtn, WA - no more weekend day tickets

Postby EMSC » Tue Jan 14, 2020 12:48 pm

Didn't really see that one coming ahead of time, but Crystal, WA is the best option in the Seattle area and is now parking out on weekends. Similar numbers of people in Seattle metro as front range Denver+Colo Sprgs+Ft Collins, but way fewer ski areas close by in WA to absorb them. Throw in bad early season followed by some good snows, an Ikon pass and voila Seattle skiing is a mess. They don't even have a 4 lane to get to the biggest resort in the area (not that that would help - See I70).

Pre-buy if you plan to go on a weekend without a pass. Assuming they release enough inventory of tickets...

very professional response. most places are becoming a s* show these days. Anyone who has been going to Seattle or lived in Seattle for the past 20 years has seen has it's changed so dramatically (IMO not for the good).
