(Note from the Administrator: This report was originally posted on 10/21/99. Due to our move to new servers, the date and time attributed to this post is incorrect.)

Made a few turns at Loveland Tuesday. Felt great! I'd thought there would
even be a few inches of fresh to play around in, but they had the whole
thing outfitted in corduroy. Oh well, there's plenty of time for pow later.
All three Denver TV stations were there, as well as journalists from the two
papers. First chair up was a group of snowboarders, of course. In fact,
there was only about 1 skier to every 3 or 4 boarders. The one open run
was the same green they open first every year, pretty lame but if you don't
turn at all, you can get some decent speed up. What else is there to do
this early in the season besides hauling ass anyway? Looking very much
forward to the rest of the season.

Josh
