Thompson Pass recieved 64" <BR>in the same event. Over 100" has aready fallen on the Pass this season. <BR>Locals are doing the road run daily. Backcountry conditions are excellent <BR>with powder and lw avalanche hazard. Occasionally high winds have produced <BR>areas of instability on lee slopes. Central gulleys on all aspects are <BR>excellent. Temperatures remain in the 20's with light winds and partly <BR>cloudy skies. Sunrise and good lght is availble from 8:00 am to 4:00pm" <BR>"Snow, Snow and more Snow continues to fall over the Eastern Chugach and <BR>the Valdez and Thompson Pass Mountains. Snow has also arrived at sea-level <BR>in Valdez about two weeks ahead of schedule. Backcountry skiing remains <BR>excelllent off the Richardson Highway. "
