(Note from the Administrator: This report was originally posted on 12/9/99. Due to our move to new servers, the date and time attributed to this post is incorrect.)

Woke to a broken cloud day, so drove up to stevens pass. Admired a gorgeous morning sky with the moon
and jupiter hanging above it all. Stevens pass reported 24 deg and many new inches. The front side was
open, snow cover on the runs was excellent. Off-piste was a little thin still, but mostly skiable. The
backside is still closed, needing more snow. Freshies were about a foot deep. Tye Mill's runs were starting
to get close to icy in the afternoon due to scrapies, but all in all an excellent day.
