Due to our move to new servers, the date and time attributed to this post is incorrect.)</I> <BR> <BR>Last year I skied only the east, Taos, and <BR>Tahoe in April. <BR> <BR>Monday 12/13/99 my first day was at Crystal Mt. Washington. They just received 7-10 inches of LIGHT (by NW standards) and conditions were <BR>quite good -AAarghh better than I had anytime <BR>last year! (new snow 11 of 13 days in Dec also helped) No bare spots good cover on all runs except steep lower runs were a little thin though skiable. <BR> <BR>North and South Backcountry were closed. <BR>lack of people not lack of snow. <BR> <BR>looks like change to rain today check prior to <BR>going there. <BR> <BR>Urgent request to Seattlites please please send <BR>some of your snow east ! You have the most in the country and New England/ Mid Atlantic are <BR>off to a terrible start for second year in a row.
