Day one in Colorado for the 2000-2001 season was about as perfect as you could get without natural snow! Trees to trees coverage of all maching made softened up nicely as the sun rose above the trees. The snow was a little firm from the night groom with frozen corduroy. The parking lot was 3/4 full, but the liftline stayed less than 5 minutes for most of the day. Sunny skies through early afternoon kept the light up as everyone had a fantastic day...now if Mother Nature would only throw some white stuff our way we could get on with bigger and better things!
