Post Thanksgiving Whistler/Blackcomb Snow Report

I just got off the hill from a Thanksgiving trip to Whistler/Blackcomb. It snowed hard from Thursday morning until we left Sunday evening. I don't know how many inches accummulated over the four days, but there was fresh powder everywhere. We're talking big, heavy flakes. The entire resort looked like it was in a snow globe.

The terrain is still somewhat limited and a bit rocky. We spun a bunch of laps from lift to lift. Be careful ducking the ropes. The powder is enticing, but heavy in some places and hard to move through. No telling where the boulders and tree tops are.

It continues to rain in Seattle/Vancouver, which means snow in Whistler. Get there while you can to enjoy the fresh.
