Just got back from the BC interior, and the snow at Apex Mountain is decent. The area has not gotten all the snow it usually gets by this time, but there was plenty of fresh for those who were looking. A few of the more heavily traveled runs had patches of ice, and I found a few of the rocks jutting out from the snow, but on the whole, snow conditions were good. Visibility was a bit sketchy at mid-mountain due to low clouds. The wind at the peak was also a bit rough, but this ended once we descended a few hundred vertical feet. All told, the place is like gold. Look for a full resort review and editorial for First Tracks!! Online in the coming days.
