Crested Butte, CO 12/29/00 - 1/1/01

Weather was cold (low 5, high 25) with almost no wind and mostly sunny. All lifts except the North Face lift (accesses the extreme terrain) were open. Most all trails were open (except the extreme terrain). Coverage was good to excellent on most trails although a few trails were showing occasional grass and dirt or rocks. Crested Butte definitely needs more snow soon to maintain existing coverage. Lift lines were acceptable (and sometimes nonexistent) considering it was around the New Year holiday.
