Some of the best freshies I've skied all season was in the trees at Winter Park. Since it was snowing all weekend most of the crowds were playing on the bumps at Mary Jane. Granted the powder wasn't as sick in the trees as it was on the steep'n deeps, but the only objects that I had to navigate around were trees. (Which is a lot easier than dodging snowplowing Texans in gawdy one-pieces!)
