Skied at Summit Central (Silver Fir chair <BR> when they opened at 0915 only) and Hyak (Yes, Hyak was open <BR> for the holiday). Temperatures was 28 F. Cloud cap/fog at the top <BR> 1/4th, but clear in the trees and below. Snow was in great shape <BR> both on and off piste. Groomers did a good job on the trails with <BR> eminently carvable cords all over the place. Freshies in the trees <BR> was mostly ankle deep with a few shin deep drifts. No crowds to <BR> speak of, most of the time it was ski down and hop onto a chair. <BR> Still getting fresh cords along the edges at 2. Those who didn't go <BR> missed one of the best of the season so far. -TomK
